Cirque Dreams: Jungle Fantasy

Yesterday we scored 26$ tickets to a show on Broadway. It was Cirque Dreams: Jungle Fantasy - and was really fun. The singing part of the music was a little cheesy - okay a lot cheesy - but the violin guy was rad (and really tall).

Each scene had "animals" come out and do a stunt acting like that animal: the spiders were contortionists, the monkeys jump roped, the lions were the strong guys, the butterflies were trapeze artists that flew around with crazy stunts using fabric, the frog was a juggler, etc. It was pretty neat to see how well they acted the part of their animal. Very creative!

My favorite was the giraffe guys - who balanced on a bongo board in some insane ways. The costumes were really pretty too. We had seats in the balcony so we could see everything really well.
