In honor of Father's Day we went to Rockefeller Center and saw the temporary art piece that is there. It is called "What My Dad Gave Me." It is this giant 65-foot Erector Set sculptor that mimics the shape of the Rockefeller tower. It was pretty cool. That is one thing that I really enjoy about New York so far - the cool art work everywhere. Some stuff blends in so well you hardly notice it - others you assume have been there forever, so you don't notice them either. You have to keep your eyes up to see all the amazing pieces from all the amazing artists!
