Deven had Monday off because of the holiday, so we took a day trip up to Malibu. We were both surprised how little there was there, but it was still cool to see. We figured it is more of a "get-away" for all the celebrities rather then a destination place. We watched the surfers that were amazing, and ate on the beach at a place called The Sunset. We found some of the cool beach homes of the celebrities, saw all the beaches in Malibu, and drove around Pepperdine University. Malibu sure is a BEAUTIFUL place, just not much to do.

This sign was on one of the fancy houses. We both thought it was so funny.
The surfers here were CRAZY - they are right by those rocks! There is probably 30-40 of them out there too.
We also checked out Santa Monica which seems like a rad city. We saw muscle beach, and the cool rides on the beach. It reminded me of Coney Island or Mission beach.
