This week in the Stephens' home

We were actually productive this week! I know, who are we....we didn't travel to some random event or activity? Well, we did have a random activity, but it was a church one!

We got a new porta crib and a diaper champ with some gift cards we got from the showers! We are "officially" ready for the babies to come now, as far as supplies go that is. I also had my 30 week appointment today, and everything is normal. Hang in there babies!

We cleaned and organized our garage. We have so much stuff and it is so nice to know where everything is. Deven was so great to lift and carry all the big boxes himself. We also did an inventory of our food storage, and made a list of what to get next.

And last but not least, we went to our ward's Elders Quorum activity. It was so fun and funny. They did a hill-billy tator race and BBQ! They set up a pine-wood derby track, and gave each elder a potato and access to screws and washers (for wheels). They then carved a potato racer. Deven's was so fast! It never got beat! It even beat the Bishop's car which was powered by small windmill.

Plus, our potato was hard core...I added the mohawk, Deven added the eyes. There were some really clever potato cars. The "double decker" was really fast, and there were some very intricately carved cars too. Here are some of the cars
The "finals" - our bishop came in full hill-billy costume (he is in the overalls). You can just make out the blur of the cars. Very intense.
So, Deven won a Daytona 500 t-shirt, some hill-billy teeth, and a sweet trucker hat that says "hunting."
