We did a lot of fun stuff while in Utah. My sisters, mom and I all got to go out for a girls lunch at the spaghetti factory, which was a highlight for me. We laughed, vented, and ate a lot. It was great.
This is NOT a picture of our girls night...but what was on our door at Mom's house. They are letters from the Hoopers and Max that they made for Remy and Kasen while having a sleep over at Grandma's and Buddy's.
Deven and I also made it up to SLC to visit Struck-Axiom and Temple Square. The lights are really one of my favorite traditions. I especially loved seeing them this year after reading the article about the lights in the Church News. I love bundling up and walking in the winter.
Because had so much family around, we also were able to make it to two movies, and 2 BYU basketball games. The babies loved the BYU games, but didn't get to attend the movies with us.
Mom watched the kids while Deven and I did our last minute Christmas shopping, which saved us a lot of time. And it was fun to spend time alone for a second.
Kasen and Shell at the kid's 2nd BYU game.
Deven's early birthday present was a five pass to Park City. He was able to go snowboarding with Dave, Josh, Ed, and Joel. He had a great time trying out his new DC board.
Pictures of the dam Deven took on his was to PC. How can you not like winter!?
One of my favorite days was the Monday after Christmas. The family went up to Logan to have a Haws party. We usually just do our Sundberg family with Grandma and Grandpa, but this year had everyone come. There were over 70 people there! That is just cousins (their kids), aunts, and uncles! It was fun to see everyone. There were so many cousins that I hadn't seen in years, not to mention the cousins kids that I had never seen. It was great.
Four generations: Me, Mom, Gma, Kasen, Gpa, Remy.

We were also able to make it over the Grandma Harris' before she took off for Vegas for Christmas. She has twins, so it might have been a flash back for her holding them!
On New Years Eve, we went over to Jay and JoDee's house for a little party. Jason and Katie were here from Texas for the holidays, so they had a little family gathering so everyone could see each other. We had a lot of great food, and visited until about 11:00. We then went home and rung in the new year with a glass of Martinelles. Kasen's first act of 2011 was messing another diaper, and Remy flashed a quick smile, then crashed.
On Monday, after a stop at the county building to visit "Buddy," Mom and Dad took us out to Rooster Dumplings in Provo for Deven's birthday dinner. It was fun to visit with them one last time before we had to head home. And the food was great too! We were able to see so many people we love, and get out a lot which was a great change of pace. Until next time!
