Deven recently entered one of his pieces into a design competition - AIGA's 100 show (quote from the website "this regions most prestigious juried competition"). This is part of the only graphic design professional organization, AIGA. The show just emailed him and he was one of the winners!
We don't know what title he won yet, but we are invited to an award dinner May 2nd (bummer it is just a prestigious thing and not a monetary thing!). I'm so proud of all the hard work he does! He seriously has worked his butt off through school - and has gotten SO good! Even after many sleepless nights and creative brain cramps he manages to take care of his wife! What a man!
