A little bit of everyday - July

One morning the kids didn't want Deven to go to work.  They decided to make a trap to stop him.  The plan was basically a "web" of shoelaces, and a large flute playing distraction by Damen.  It was pretty hysterical.
One afternoon we made paper bag puppets.  We hung a sheet for a puppet show.
Chick-fil-a day is in July.  If you dress up like a cow - you get a free meal.  The kids made their own cow headbands.
Couch forts are a must in the summertime (and winter, and fall, and spring)
Kasen and his cute play dough butterfly
 Twin hugs
Storytime at the library.  We never leave without at least 30 books, and usually a sucker from the basement cafe.  Kasen
 Remy, Kasen, Damen
Helping Daddy wash his new car.  We love his new VW golf sportwagon.
Remy showing a cute drawing she made of her little purple bunny.  She is such a cute artist.
When it rains in the middle of the biggest drought - you have to dance in the rain.  The boys were a bit shy of it, but Remy and Mommy soaked it up.
Damen and Kasen at our park.

Beach parks are fun too - they love the spinner
Damen, Remy, Kasen picnic at the beach - watching the surfers.

Deven teaching the kids how to set up a new board.
When we cut the front palms the kids each picked one and marched around singing a song they made up "We are the bravest good guys, we are!"  It was so cute.
Kasen made this police hat and badge from his 4th of July visor.
 Remy
Noodle fights and lots of swimming with friends.
Damen looking at the fish at Deven's work.
We finally hung pictures in the kids room (well, the frames at least).
In one day Kasen got a "shinner" and Damen got a "goose egg".  Kasen fell into a fountain at the mall head first after dinner. Damen fell off a chair at the bowling alley.
