We had a great 4th of July! We started out at the parade on main street. We sat with some peeps from our new ward. It was hot though, and the kids were over it - this parade didn't have princesses or mickey mouse (the nerve!) - so we took of early. We had a little mini firework show at our house and played corn hole. We then headed over to our friend's house for a little mini BBQ before the big trek down to the peir for the fireworks. The kids were so great the whole time and loved the fireworks (Damen slept through all the booms like a little angel). They all crashed leaving the parade so the were well rested for the rest of the busy day. It was a great family day.
