I can't believe I forgot to blog about a major event in Deven's life - his three-peat win at our ward's annual potato derby race. The days leading up to the event were really funny- it was all about beating Deven. The bishop wrote a funny email about there being testing this year for performance enhancing drugs. The ward blog had a funny Q&A about if it was possible to beat Deven (no was the answer). Even the flyer they passed out had the reason to come as "beating Deven." He made up a funny rebuttal for the ward blog you can read here.
Here is his winning potato - he always thinks it "won't even make it down the track" and his is always way fast. This year he did have a really big challenge of two kids crawling all over him while he was trying to make it. He had to do a rush job!
