The whole family went up to LA on Saturday to check out the Getty Center. It was a crazy, fun, beautiful, day. Crazy because of some mild meltdowns around nap times, fun because it was fun to do something new and cultural, and beautiful because that place is rad.

There was at least one piece in each collection that was amazing. My favorite thing of the whole center was the gardens. It helped that is was a beautiful day. We enjoyed lunch with a celebrity that we couldn't figure out his name. And our kids were photographed by a few Asians and monks...really a monk in an orange robe took their picture because he was so amazed my them.

The grounds and architecture and views are AMAZING. I must say the structure far surpasses the museum's collection...




It was SO clear you could see downtown perfectly.
