Deven had a week left of paternity leave that he needed to use - so we were able to do a fun road trip! We packed up and were ready to go, but waited to drive at night to Vegas so it would be easier on the kids. We spent a day in Vegas and saw some family and friends. The Melvin family came over and the kids got to meet their newest cousin Finley. We also were able to see Danny and Steph and of course Kyle, Julia, Diana and Stephen. Diana was SO nice and fit me into her day for a cut/color, and we ate and chatted the rest of the day.
We then drove up to St George to meet the Great Grands. They kids met GGP (Grandpa Stephens) and Grandma Gayla. We then were off to Park City. It was a LONG drive mostly at nights, but it was really really fun.
When we got to Park City Mom and Dad had everyone up to the condo for Sunday Dinner so we got to see everyone. Then Monday morning for Valentine's Day Deven and I went snowboarding. It was SO great. Beautiful day, great snow, and I got to spend it with my Valentine! Mom and Ashley watched the babies so I could try out my new snowboard Deven got me from work. Later that night, Dad treated us to a dinner at 360 Main for Valentines. It was really fun.
After a quick trip to the outlets the next day, we had to go back home. I was sad to leave so soon, but glad we were able to go. The drive home was crappy - we had to stop to feed the kids in Beaver, and then again in Barstow the next day. The babies did great though and overall it was a great trip!
