When the kids got blessed the family came into town. Don't tell, but that is one reason we didn't do it in Utah over Christmas...I wanted to see the family again. (: My family got here Tuesday and rented a really cool condo that a friend of a friend owns. It was so nice, close enough to walk to the beach, had a pool and bikes to use, and was really close to my house! Mom, Dad, Ash, and Julie's family were able to come. We went to the Sugar Shack (twice) and hung out at Newport Beach once and then Huntington Beach the other day. The last day we checked out Laguna and ate at Tommy Bahama's (SHRIMP BLT!).
Deven's family came in for just the weekend, but we were able to have them Sunday and Deven gave them (and Parker) a Saturday tour of DC. It was great to have family in town and keep us busy. The kids loved the extra attention, and I paid for it the few days after...but it was well worth it.
