A Very Disney Birthday

The Happy Couple at the Happiest Place on Earth!
Deven took me to Disneyland for my birthday. It was so much fun, he is the greatest! He isn't a huge fan of Disneyland - he likes it, but there are many other places he would rather go. But for my 26th birthday we were there! We flew into CA on my b-day and got a 3 day park hopper. It was great to have so much time to enjoy all the rides and sights. The one thing we didn't get a chance to do was shop, mostly because we didn't want to spend anymore money! We stayed at the Red Lion - which was recently re-done very contemporary. We were within walking distance of Disneyland and some good restaurants.

Did you know that they give you a button on your birthday! I felt very special, even though Deven pointed out a million times that others had them too. All the workers were so nice and told me "Happy Birthday!" each time we were in line. We stopped counting at 30 something.
I loved the holiday decorations around Disneyland. They had some pretty amazing pumpkins that were really carved.
They also change the Haunted House for the month of Oct-Jan. I love the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas so I actually liked it better then the original. They should keep it like this the whole year!
Toon town! Me & Deven.
The new Toy Story 3D ride. It was really fun. The line was SO long - and luckily we had 3 days so waits like this were okay. We even went on the ferris wheel - which is a silly line, but fun to say we did it. Most of the lines were pretty short, the real crowd came when the firework show was on. It was crazy how many people they crammed into Main Street. It was a fun firework show - the villains of the movies came out and haunted the castle.
We saw lots of characters - Pluto is way short!!
Can you believe we got a picture with Jesse AND Woody! Pretty amazing....so I thought.
Disney Cal Adventures was decked out in candy corn. Loved it!!
Poor Deven - all the water rides got him SOAKED! Before the ride I insisted that no one gets that wet - just sprinkled. Well, he got drenched. Sorry babe! Can you tell he didn't seem that happy about it.
