The best money spent with little kids at christmas is a gingerbread house kit! No baking involved here...just the fun and icing.
Our neighborhood has so many fun houses. Coupled with the warm weather, we had many "light walks"
Our stake had a great live nativity activity. It was fun to have the kids watch what it might all look like.
Done in Utah: Christmas pull-aparts. An old Stephens' tradition, which we have tried to add (when they actually turn out). They were yummy this year.

Remy, Deven, Kasen, Damen with our gingerbread house.
Damen getting some free icing
Sweet Remy with her cute Christmas craft. She was so proud.
Kasen with his Christmas craft. Cute little train
Instead of writing letters to Santa (because we got to see him at Disneyland and at our ward party) we wrote letters to cousins. Damen was a great sticker boy.
Christmas cookies with our friends the Birds.
Disneyland Christmas parade, and fireworks. Damen was way to tired to enjoy it....but I'm still glad we tried.
Of course our cute Christmas tree and decorations.
We got to visit temple square on a very mild, non-crowded night. Kasen liked the tabernacle.
Damen loved all the pictures of Jesus. All the kids were so cute watching the nativity video in the visitors center.

Our amazing family at the ward party. This is where the kids got to meet Santa, and we didn't get a good picture of just the kids. But we got 2 perfect family pictures.
Deven and Damen. Christmas snow. Perfect.
