Remy and Kasen were so sweet on Christmas. They didn't really know what was going on, but were excited about the new toys. Grandma and Buddy had given them a play hut with a tunnel, so Christmas Eve night we set it up and Santa put his gifts in the "ball pit."
Santa brought Remy a doll bed and change of clothes. He brought Kasen a little golf set with three clubs and two balls. He also brought them both a Busy Ball Popper which I was very excited about due to the fact that they were just discontinued and are selling on Amazon for $50.
That morning, they came down the stairs and Remy went right for the characters on the little hut, and Kasen exclaimed "BALL!" The rest of the day was spent with family coming over and lots of eating. By the end of the day the kids were finally warmed up to being in a new place.
The rest of the trip was spent climbing stairs, playing at the park (NO SNOW?!?!), being spoiled by Grandma, Ashley, and Buddy, and playing with cousins. We were sad to leave, but also ready to be home.
Deven and I also got spoiled being able to go to a bunch of movies, snowboard in Park City, a Zupas and J Dawg lunch, and out to dinner with Parker and Julie.
We had another family gathering for New Years which was fun. The Hoopers and Smiths came to the house and we chatted, had so great food, and played a few games. I got sucked into a puzzle that Ashley had bought, but it was nice to do something without thinking.
