Deven and I drove up to LA to visit our dear dear friends Danny and Stephanie Dastrup. It was so much fun to see the city. They gave a great tour! Danny is in law school at Loyola so they are living in LA for a while. Oh, and they live next door to Daryl from the Office...crazy.
We ate at a sweet place called ApplePan - loved the atmosphere, very 60's diner type. We drove around the temple, Beveraly Hills, down Rodeo Drive, and around Hollywood. We stopped at Griffith observatory which I had never heard of, but it is AMAZING! The views of LA are great, and it is such a cool free site seeing location. It was crazy when we got there we bumped into Stephanie's brother. Convenient for picture taking. Small world.

We then went and took a quick look at Grauman's Chinese Theatre and also saw the Kodak Theater. It was so fun - LA is actually a really cool city. Who knew!? (: Next time we'll have to plan a week long trip or something. It was fun.

Some weirdo pirate made Danny and Stephanie swords, so of course we dueled on the streets. There are so many people dressed up in costumes asking for money for pictures. So weird!
